Shenandoah Wildflowers

We’ve haven’t been able to get out to the mountains for a couple springs now, but this weekend we headed out and timed our hike perfectly. Our favorite hike for wildflowers is South River in the Shenandoah National Park. It takes about a half hour to wander down and an hour or so to come back up. I am always in search of columbine, which we did not see on this adventure. We were treated to great trillium and a hundreds of flowers. Here are some selects via Instagram.
