Believe it or not, this really wasn’t a photo vacation. We just wanted to get away, explore and hope to see some birds and animals. We used our binoculars and spotting scope much more than my camera. The experience was also much more about the sounds of the forest – the scarlet macaws squawking during their short flights or the howler monkeys sounding like an automobile crash without the impact (that is the best I can describe it). So these photos are simply a taste of our trip, but don’t do justice all that we saw and experienced. A few posts back is my main prize – the puma!
